Although Lake Bled is the best known lake in Slovenia, for us Lake BOHINJ is the most beautiful.
It is the largest lake in Slovenia and is not so crowded.
This glacial lake is located in the northwest of Slovenia, within the Triglav National Park, very close to Bled and about an hour from Ljubljana.
In summer you can swim in several areas, go paddle surfing, rent a boat... And in winter it freezes!
We parked the motorhome in one of the parking lots next to one of the beaches around the lake. The parking lot is a bit expensive, €3 per hour, but it is a way to find a place and enjoy the lake for 2 or 3 hours (you cannot stay overnight). In the parking lot you have a snack bar if you want to have a drink. Here is a link to the parking lot: https://park4night.com/es/place/230982.
We took out the paddle board and enjoyed 3 wonderful hours on the lake.
On the left you can visit the Savica waterfall, one of the most famous in the country along with Peričnik, Rinka, Boka and Kozjak. We didn't go because we didn't see that we could park the motorhome according to some comments on park4night. I'll leave you the link to the parking lot anyway: https://park4night.com/es/place/87660.
Next to the parking lot, a little further to the left, there is a campsite with a beach directly on the lake and a ferry to cross to the other side of the lake https://www.camp-bohinj.si/ but if you go in summer it's difficult to find a space if you don't have a prior reservation.
